Touch a Truck '09

Touch a Truck is this amazing event that the City of Alpharetta does every year. Imagine every truck you can possibly think of and it will be at Touch a Truck. It gets better. It is a free day of fun and the kids get to sit in, climb on, pretend to drive every truck. Hayden, Logan and Claire had a fabulous time. The favorites were sitting on a police motorcycle, pulling the horns on the big rigs, seeing the back of a fully loaded ambulance and of course all the firetrucks!

Sharing Easter with Friends

This year Easter was very special. Our close friends, The Garcia Family came over to share Easter with us. It was a wonderful day with beautiful sunny weather. The kids all had a great time hunting for eggs in our back yard, playing together and decorating sugar cookies.

The kids could not wait to come home from church to see what the Easter Bunny had left for them. They had to look for their baskets which of course made them even more excited and anxious. That silly bunny had them looking all over the place. Once discovered...it didnt take long to completely destroy the bunny's hard work and presentation of toys and candy!!

Delaware Visit

For the past couple of years during Spring Break we pile into the car and drive all the way to Delaware to visit Tom's family. We are blessed with children who actually like a "road trip adventure". Doesnt hurt that they each have their own DVD player. How did Tom's family drive every summer from Delaware to Iowa without AC in the car much less a DVD player!! It was a wonderful week. We enjoyed the weather, coloring Easter Eggs and going on an Easter Egg hunt.
